LOCAL BOPS EPISODE 007 (7.21.2020)

Local Bops

Always happy to have a guest with which I can discuss the merits of a chopped cheese, and Brooklyn lofi indie duo Otra Vez did not disappoint in that regard. We chatted about their very good EP vexation (out now) and their forthcoming pivot towards higher fidelities, and I briefly got to be a fly on the wall and witness their deep friendship founded on music. Plus I talk a bit forlornly about shows and the digital footprints we leave behind on Facebook which currently serve as depressive artifacts for a time wherein we could sweatily gather in a crowded basement — quoth the Raven, “nevermore” (sorry I know I’m being melodramatic)
