The Ham ‘n’ Egger

For this show, friend of the show Kevin joins us. Kevin is a filmmaker and co-runner of Good Relation Records based out of Austin Texas. He curated a set of music loosely based around the Fluxus and Downtown movements. I tried my best to find songs that I thought of or felt when I heard his set. We talk about John Lydon’s favorite dub musicians and the influence of Rhys Chatham and Glenn Branca on post-punk/no wave/and independent music from the 90’s and today. I also learn about Phillip Glass’s work as a music producer.

Thanks for listening!

The Ham ‘n’ Egger is on Saturdays from 10am to noon.
